Iron Phosphate Pre-Wash
Deionized Wash
Industrial and parts manufacturers demand powder coating that is extremely durable and will protect metal parts from corrosion and rust. In order to achieve this, one of the most important stages of powder coating is properly cleaning the parts by removing any residues such as oil, grease, dust, and rust.
Our Cleaning ProcessPCS uses an iron phosphate wash pre-treatment to ensure that your surfaces are prepared for powder coating properly. The individual parts are sent through a conveyor process that cleans, chemically pre-treats, and rinses them in preparation for powder coating. Iron-Phosphate Wash BenefitsBenefits of the iron phosphate wash pre-treatment include:
Once the pre-wash is completed, parts are then washed with a Deionized Wash (DI Wash) for a comprehensive cleaning to remove and leftover chemicals. We also offer sand blasting and descaling as needed. Once the iron phosphate pre-treatment and rinse are completed, the parts are sent to a dry-off oven. There all moisture is evaporated, and the parts are then ready to rack for powder coating.
